A mum is appealing for help in finding her son’s missing teddy bear.

Seven-year-old Seth lost the bear when visiting the Captain Noel Newton Wetherspoon pub in Oakham on Saturday at about 6.15pm.

He put it down in the ladies toilet while he went into a cubicle and when he returned, the bear had disappeared.

The bear is about 26cm tall, light brown and with a label around his neck that says ‘Love from Daddy’. It is a Hamley’s bear and Seth has had it since he was a baby. He sleeps with it every night.

Anyone that knows where the bear is can contact Seth’s mum Suzanne on 07920 462515 or e-mail the newsdesk
