Appeal for witnesses after crash in Ryhall

A car was involved in a collision near Ryhall during the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday and police need to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it.

The incident took place around 12.30am on Essendine Road, just outside Ryhall, opposite the Rutland Hand Car Wash.

A grey Fiat Panda left the road and came to rest in some hedges. The driver sustained minor injuries.

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

If you saw the vehicle beforehand or if you witnessed the collision then please get in touch.
