An appeal has been launched to find the owner of a castle that was mistakenly left on the wrong doorstep.

The impressive work, pictured, was left in Barnack Road, Stamford, on the doorstep of Ben Stevens on Wednesday, October 21.

Ben said: “The castle appeared on our doorstep at some point yesterday, possibly late afternoon or evening, and we only discovered it this morning when leaving for school. I assume the deliverer has just left it at the wrong address.

“The castle is named Scarlett Todd and Grace Kendall on the bottom. Hopefully we can reunite this ‘lost kingdom’ with its rightful owner!”

If the castle is yours call the newsdesk on 01780 758951 or e-mail smeditor@stamfordmercury.co.uk.
