A DEDICATED apprentice carer had all her hair shaved off at a summer fete to raise money for the residents she looks after.
Charli Taylor, 17, shaved her long hair off entirely on Saturday in front of a large crowd at the The Old Hall care home summer fete in Billingborough.
Charli said: “I love my job and all the residents and I fancied doing something a bit different to raise some money for them.
“I know it’s a bit mad but I didn’t mind doing it. But I still and forget I haven’t got hair.
“It was a brilliant day and we raised lots of money and everyone seemed to enjoy it.”
The fete was a real family affair, attracting about 150 people and raising about £1,600 thanks to Charli’s £380 contribution.
