Arrest after man ‘attacked with metal bar’ in Bourne

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an attack in Bourne.

Police were called to Pinfold Road at about 9.45pm on Sunday, October 18. A 27-year-old man had been attacked and was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with injuries to his face.

It is understood a metal bar was used in the attack.

A man has since been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.

Witnesses should call 101 quoting incident 393 of October 18.
