Police arrest man in relation to vehicle crimes in Stamford and Bourne areas.

A man believed to be a key player in vehicle crimes committed across the Stamford and Bourne area has been arrested.

The man was linked by police to offences involving the theft of vehicles and registration plates, as well as items stolen from vehicles.

Lincolnshire Police worked with Hampshire's force and members of the public to gain evidence for the arrest.


Insp Ian Martin of Stamford and Bourne Police said: "We want to thank people for reporting thefts to us, and reassure people that we should see a noticeable reduction of vehicle crime in the area."

To report vehicle crime, including the theft of number plates, call police on 101.
