Arrests after more than 50 cannabis plants found in Stamford

Two men have been arrested after more than 50 cannabis plants were found in a raid on a Stamford home.

Police discovered the drugs during a raid on Monday morning.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “Officers searching the premises seized a substantial amount of cannabis and growing equipment.

“Two men aged 56 and 22 were arrested on suspicion of the production of drugs and taken to Grantham police station for questioning. They have been bailed to return to the police station in June whilst the investigation is ongoing.”
