Artwork of an “amazingly high standard” by the young people of Rutland has gone on display at Rutland County Museum.

The Rutland Youth Open attracted more than 55 entries and opened to the public on Saturday.

A special preview evening was held the night before the opening in which the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Sarah Furness attended to hand out prizes, which were donated by Oakham Arts Society, the Arts Society Rutland and Arts for Rutland.
