Artists wanted for Bourne Old Town Hall 200th anniversary exhibition




The Old Town Hall Trust are looking for local artists to help them celebrate the building's landmark anniversary.

As part of their 200th anniversary celebrations, the Trust is holding an art exhibition at the Old Town Hall from Monday, October 25 to Thursday, October 28.

The Trust would like to hear from artists who would like to display their work in the exhibition.

If interested, email Florence at art@bournetownhall.org.uk with a couple of examples of your work including dimensions.

• A local history group is set to meet for the first time since the first national lockdown more than 18 months ago.

The Bourne branch of the Lincolnshire Family History Society will meet at Wake House, in the Morgan Room, on Tuesday at 7.30pm.

Brian Lawrence will be the speaker for the evening with a talk shedding light on the villages around Bourne.

The evening is open to non-members as well as LFHS members, with no charge for entry, but donations welcome.
