Lockdown exhibition at Stamford Arts Centre café features paintings by Stamford artist Jane Hindmarch

Many town centre buildings are looking a bit gloomy in lockdown - but not Stamford Arts Centre's café.

Jane Hindmarch has set up an exhibition of her original paintings in the windows of the St Mary’s Street eatery, which is brightening up the day for people out on their daily exercise.

The artist, who lives at Newstead, near Stamford, uses oil paints and acrylics to capture seasonal highlights, including carpets of spring bluebells, vivid yellow rapeseed fields, and swathes of pink campions.
