Volunteer first responder at Lives charity speaks about mental health impact of attending suicide attempt incident




A volunteer first responder has spoken about the impact attending a suicide attempt had on his wellbeing.

He told his story as part of Mental Health Awareness Week to help Lincolnshire charity Lives raise awareness and break down the stigma often associated with mental health.

The charity’s volunteers give their time to attend 999 emergencies. As part of its work, the organisation also provides mental health first aid courses to businesses and individuals.
