Sophie Allport of Bourne is inspired to produce cards to raise money for the New South Wales Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service which is assisting with the Australian bushfires
The Australian bushfires have inspired a designer to produced limited edition charity cards.
Sophie Allport, based in Bourne, was inspired by family friend Alice Bennett, 17, to produce the cards which will raise money for the New South Wales Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service.
Alice said: “It’s so sad to know that many animals have lost their homes because of the Australian fires, after seeing the koalas being rescued, I knew we could do something to help.
"I’ve really enjoyed working with Sophie, and it’s amazing to know that we are doing something to help the animals.”
Sophie Allport said: “The koala was the perfect fit for the front of these cards, and we are so pleased to work with Alice and support such a great cause.”
The cards can be purchased at sophieallport.com for £6 per pack (pack of six), with 100 per cent of proceeds being donated to the charity.
