Bank card used in Stamford after being stolen from care home in Peterborough




Around £2,000 was withdrawn from a cash machine in Stamford after a bank card was stolen from a care home in Peterborough.

A purse belonging to an employee was stolen from a staff area at Ashlynn Grange Care Home in Bretton on May 14 and the card was later used to withdraw almost £3,000, including a withdrawal of around £2,000 from a cash machine at a bank in Stamford.

This was from a machine where larger withdrawals are allowed.

Anyone with information should contact Cambridgeshire Police on 101, quoting crime number 35/33419/19.
