Beacon to be lit in Stamford to mark Queen’s 90th birthday

Stamford will be joining in the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations by lighting a beacon on the Recreation Ground.

It will be lit at 6.30pm on Thursday, April 21. Stamford Brass Band perform.

Around 1,000 beacons will be lit across the country to mark the occasion.
