Bench dedicated in memory of former Market Deeping mayor Reg
A bench has been dedicated in memory of a well-loved man and a former councillor.
The bench in Riverside Park, Market Deeping, was dedicated in memory of Reg Howard, former mayor of the town and chairman of South Kesteven District Council who died in April.
On the same day, Market Deeping Town Council opened a Garden of Remembrance and Remembrance crosses were also planted in memory of those lost in service. The mayor of Market Deeping, civic dignitaries, Army and Air cadets and the Royal British Legion were all in attendance during the event on Sunday.
