The proposed St George's Barracks development at North Luffenham in Rutland will receive £29.4m from the Housing Infrastructure Fund
Rutland is set to receive £29.4m of investment into infrastructure to support the proposed redevelopment of St. George’s Barracks at North Luffenham.
Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid announced that Rutland County Council’s application to the Housing Infrastructure Fund has been successful.
The county council submitted its application, based on the latest evolving masterplan for St. George’s, in February after the bid was discussed at a heated meeting in January.
