Black Lives Matter walk 'brings people together' in Oakham




A Black Lives Matter event in Rutland has brought people closer together, its organiser has said.

Manjinder Jagdev had not expected her ‘peace memorial walk’ in Oakham to be so popular, with around 120 people taking part on Saturday (June 13).

Residents of all ages, including families and children, walked from the town library to the park at Cutts Close in a show of solidarity.
