Art course in Stamford will be held by Full Monty actor Steve Huison

A two-day basic drawing workshop focusing on 'light and shade' is set to take place in Stamford.

Just a few places remain for the course, which is being led by Full Monty actor Steve Huison at The William Cecil in Stamford.

During the workshop participants will explore charcoal drawing techniques and exercises with an aim of improving the gradation of light and form. This will include a full day of drawing a life model.

Following on from a similar, sell-out art workshop he led last year, this year's course will be on September 30 and October 1 from 10am to 5pm.

Profits will again go to The Phoebe Research Fund, which is helping to fund research into a rare skin condition which affects local girl Phoebe Crowson.

Priced £130 per place with lunch included, places on the course are available by e-mailing info@phoeberesearch.org.uk
