In My Own Rhyme shares a collection by Rutland poet Susan North

A collection of poems covering diverse observations and emotions has been published by a Rutland author.

Susan North's book, In My Own Rhyme, features 40 short poems - some funny, some poignant and all reflecting on life and relationships.

It is Susan's first book and was inspired after her husband was taken ill suddenly with genetic heart disease.

As his carer, Susan writes poetry to help "keep the stress at bay".
