THE ever growing Bourne Bridge Club has moved premises after outgrowing their previous home.
The nomadic club, which has been based all over the town, most recently at Wake House in North Street, has now moved to the Masonic Hall, in Roman Bank, where it can accommodate its 47 members on a Thursday night.
Treasurer Dorothy Alexander said: “There is much more space to spread out the tables. Now people can have a gossip without disturbing anyone.
“The decibels can get quite high.
“We are still getting used to our much loftier surroundings.”
The club was formed 25 years ago after several members of the now closed Bourne Centre WI started bridge lessons at a night class.
