Thanks to Specsavers in Bourne the 2nd Bourne Brownie pack are now the proud owners of high visibility jackets.

Specsavers has promoted National Road Safety week by handing out 200,000 high-visibility vests to schoolchildren and sponsoring the road-safety charity Brake.

2nd Bourne Brownies were one of the lucky groups to receive 28 jackets for youngsters.

Brown Owl Tracey Miles said: “These will ensure that our girls can be seen when we are out and about especially now with the dark nights and a big thank goes to Specsavers.”
