A care home in Bourne is to hold an open day next week with a 1960s theme.

The event, at Abbey Court Care Home, in Falcon Way, will take place on Friday, June 17, beginning at 2.30pm.

It will give people considering moving into a facility with residential and nursing care the opportunity to take a look around and talk with staff.

Abbey Court has 88 beds and a specialist dementia unit upstairs.

During the open day, there will be live music to entertain guests and staff and residents will be dressing up in line with the ’60s theme.

All are welcome to attend. For more information, call 01778 391390.
