Bourne Choral Society gears up for concert

A VARIED programme has been confirmed for a choir’s Christmas concert.

Bourne Choral Society hosts its annual event at 7.30pm on December 3 at Bourne Abbey Church in Church Lane.

Six French carols arranged by Philip Riley, who was born and brought up in Stamford, will be performed along with a concert version of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ The First Nowell.

The choir will also sing Laudamus Te from Karl Jenkins’ Gloria

Tickets are £8 from Hoppers Jewellers in North Street, Bourne, Sally Anne in West Street, from choir members and on the night. Entry for children is free. All proceeds will go towards Help for Heroes.
