Dancers from Bourne to Dance took part in the Huntingdonshire Festival of Dance and Arts, and walked away with an array of medals, trophies and awards.

The students aged between four and 16 years danced solo, duet and group routines in styles including ballet, tap, modern acrobatics and song and dance.

The competition was attended by some 20 dance schools and academies from across the country, and the Bourne dancers certainly made their presence at the competition known!

Overall, the 30 dance students won 58 medals and five trophies during the course of the weekend.

Trophy winners were Evie Venables for the highest mark in classical ballet, Ellie Beveridge and Holly Rutherford for the highest mark in song and dance, Ellie Beveridge for the highest mark in national dance and the costume award, and the senior vocational ballet group for the most entertaining performance award.

Teachers and choreographers Miss Denise Delieu and Miss Dominique Lowe would like to offer their congratulations to all the dancers who took part in the competition, and say thank you to everyone who came along to support them.

Classes in all styles of dance are available at Bourne to Dance for children and adults of all ages.
