Year 5 children from Bourne Westfield Primary Academy enjoyed a fun-filled residential visit to Caythorpe.

From high ropes to raft making, orienteering to archery, our children had a busy schedule of activities which offered unique challenges rarely encountered by them before.

This was the inaugural visit to Caythorpe and the event was a huge success with children returning very tired but excited about all they had achieved and done.

The purpose of the visit was to develop teamwork skills and independence via a range of ‘trust and challenge’ activities.

The highlight for many were activities conducted at height, including the high ropes, and climbing assault course.
