Irish pop sensations Boyzone are set to headline Newark Festival on Saturday, June 20 at Riverside Park.

Now in its fourth year, the festival has gone from strength to strength, previously attracting bands like Human League, Marc Almond, Heaven 17 and


Boyzone’s Ronan said: “We love the chance to play outdoors through the summer so I’m looking forward to a great night in Newark”.

Shane added: “The crowd in the East Midlands are always superb.”

Boyzone scored 16 consecutive top five singles including ‘Love Me For A Reason’, ‘Father and Son’ and ‘Picture of You’ and the run included six number ones: ‘Words’, ‘A Different Beat’, ‘All That I Need’, ‘No Matter What’, ‘When The Going Gets Tough’ and ‘You Needed Me’.
