Bring your favourite teddy bear to Sacrewell this bank holiday for an awesome adventure at the farm and activity centre near Wansford.

If your child’s teddy is always getting itself into sticky situations then it will love this event, where it can complete in a number of activities to be awarded with a certificate of ‘un-bear-lieveable’ importance.

Taking place this Sunday and Monday, this year’s event will feature the teddy bear zorbing zone, where teddies can jump into a giant hamster ball and roll down the hill towards the stream.

For the first time, Sacrewell will also be inviting all of its daring bears and their owners to join a picnic on the lawn at 12.30pm each day. Please bring a blanket and a picnic.

There will be an area set up at the picnic as a teddy bear photo booth where people can pose with their teddies for photos.

Marketing executive Megan Allen says the team are looking forward to meeting this year’s adventurers.

“It’s an event we have been running for a few years now and each year the bears get even braver. So we thought it would be a good opportunity to meet them all at a picnic.”

There will also be the classic activities of zip wiring through the farm, rafting across the Mill Pond, parachute games and bungee jumping from the cherry picker.

Sacrewell is open from 9.30am to 5pm every day. Entry is £5 for children, £6.70 adults.
