Broadcaster Lars Tharp will give talk to mark WaterAid’s 10th anniversary

Antiques Roadshow expert and broadcaster Lars Tharp will give a talk to mark 10 years of fundraising for the Rutland branch of WaterAid.

The talk entitled ‘Five Men Behaving Badly a Five Day Tour of the Medway Towns’ will take place on Tuesday, June 30, at 6.30pm for 7pm in the Mark Glatman Theatre at Uppingham School.

The talk is based on a diary written in 1732 that recounts the frolics of five drunken friends as they embark on their own Grand Tour in Kent. It will be followed by drinks and canapés or, if fine, in the lovely quad outside. Tickets cost £20. For tickets and more information contact Hilary Williams at hilaryjbw@gmail.com or 01572 747044.
