A broken-down car caused delays on a busy commuter route.

The car stopped on the westbound lane of the A47 at Castor, near Sacrewell Farm, at about 7.40am today (Tuesday).

Early morning traffic driving between the A1 and Peterborough was delayed as a result of the obstruction.
