Bungalow plan for Exotic Pet Refuge

A BUNGALOW and a new monkey enclosure could be built at a pet refuge if plans get the go-ahead.

Pam Mansfield, who owns Deeping St James Exotic Pet Refuge in Station Road, has applied to South Kesteven District Council for permission to build a bungalow on the site.

If approved, the three-bedroom bungalow will become the home of Pam’s son Darren and will replace three caravans where Darren currently stores some of his belongings.

There is already a house at the refuge where Pam lives, as well as a number of enclosures for the 300 animals the refuge cares for.
