Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials organisers set to mark weekend with online event and virtual Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse series

The organisers of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials are organising an online event to mark the weekend when the world-famous equestrian event should have taken place.

The event invites people who would ordinarily be at Burghley House near Stamford from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6, to celebrate "all that is wonderful about Land Rover Burghley".

A statement on the Burghley website said: "Friday 4th September will be completely dedicated to our fantastic virtual shopping experience, Saturday 5th September will see a huge range of material from the archives live on the website for you to delve into and soak up the nostalgia.
