Charity night to celebrate 40 years of the Antiques Roadshow




A charity group – Burghley Park and Peterborough Ladies for Cancer Research UK – is holding an event to celebrate 40 years of the popular TV show, the Antiques Roadshow.

The evening with Marc Allum, 40 Years on the Road, is taking place in the marquee at The William Cecil Hotel, Stamford, on Tuesday, May 29, and will see the presenter talk about all asepcts of the show.

The evening starts at 7pm and Marc will be available for valuations after his talk for a £5 donation.

The event is a double celebration for the club as it marks 43 years since its foundation, and it has raised more than £954,000 for the fight against cancer.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards Cancer Research UK.
