A burglary in Morton has been linked to two more near Grantham.

A man was found wandering around the inside of a bungalow in The Paddocks, Morton, at about 6.30pm yesterday (September 21).

The man was found by the resident, who was at home. PCSO Sandra Brommell said the man told the resident he had come to cut the hedges.

The burglar is described as white, short, middle aged, with an English accent and wearing dark clothing.

Police are linking the burglary to two others that happened the same day in the villages of Syston and Ropsley, near Grantham. An “old type” silver car was seen in the area.
