Burglars who raided home in Exeter Gardens, Stamford, remanded in custody
Two crooks have admitted targeting a house in Stamford as they carried out a whirlwind string of burglaries on the same day across the region.
Mick Connors, 49, of Arbour View Court, Northampton, and Patrick Cash, 35, of Elizabeth Road, Rothwell, each admitted nine burglaries at Lincoln Crown Court today (Friday).
The two villains broke in to houses throughout Lincolnshire and Leicestershire on July 4 this year, the court heard.
Connors and Cash burgled the homes in Exeter Gardens, Stamford, Thurmaston, Scraptoft, and Market Harborough with the intent to steal jewellery.
They carried out another burglary in Skillington intending to steal money the court was told.
The raiders also burgled other properties in Thurmaston, Thurnby, and Leicester.
Recorder Graham Huston adjourned sentence to a future date as he remanded both Connors and Cash in custody.
