Electric charging point installed for soft play customers in Stamford

Owners of a soft play centre have installed a new electric vehicle charging point for customers.

Visitors to The Yard in West Street, Stamford, can use the charger while their children play.

Initially it will be available via a booking system, with the possibility of extending its use to the wider public outside of the venue's opening hours in the future.

Owner Jo Henchy said: “We have been trying over the past few years to make our business a bit more eco-friendly."

The venue has already scrapped single-use plastic.
