Waterside Garden Centre presents cheque to Don't Lose Hope
A mental health charity has received thousands of pounds after a successful event.
'An evening with Adam Frost' at Waterside Garden Centre raised £4,000 for Don't Lose Hope.
The event consisted of a three-course meal for 200 people and a raffle.
Emma Newsome, who organised the evening in October, said: "We chose Don't Lose Hope because everyone knows someone with mental health issues.
"It's a new local charity so it's nice for a local business to support another local business."
Emma, 50, added: "They said that the amount of money will provide a few months of counselling for a couple of people."
"I was thrilled to bits, it couldn't have gone better."
In the future, Waterside Garden Centre staff will support the charity's garden area by offering advice and free products.
