Children, parents, staff and their teddies enjoyed a celebratory party on September 25 to mark two important milestones.
It is now 21 years since the Mulberry Bush first opened its doors to the families in and around the Stamford area.
Initially based at the college, the nursery expanded in 2010 and developed its second setting in the grounds of St. Augustine’s School off Kesteven Road.
Last year, the main nursery relocated from the college to its new premises in Uffington – giving greater scope for development of its range of provision.
The Teddy Bear’s picnic party included games, stories, party food and a large teddy bear cake to mark their first Birthday at Uffington and 21 years of service to the community.
The nursery continues to go from strength to strength and in recent years The Mulberry Bush has received prestigious Awards for its quality of care and ‘Team of the Year’ by the Lincolnshire Birth to Five service.
In conjunction with the Birthday party, The Mulberry Bush at Uffington has just launched its Breakfast and Afterschool clubs, as well as a Parent and Toddler group which will meet on Thursdays, and its new website: www.mulberrybushchildcare.co.uk
