Family fun at first Stamford Feast

CULTURE and cuisine from all over the world will be celebrated at Stamford Meadows on Sunday in the first Stamford Feast.

This free community festival will run from 10am to 9pm and includes trade stands; locally grown food from farmers and allotment groups; cultural awareness world food trail; healthy living demonstrations and advice from local government Love Food Hate Waste; health checks and nutritional advice from local health services; school cooking competitions; fairground rides and children’s entertainment; world music and dance demonstrations and cookery demonstrations by local chefs.

A park and ride service will run from Malcolm Sargent Primary School car park in Empingham Road; New College Stamford car park, Drift Road; Stamford Junior School car park, A43/Wothorpe and C&G Concrete, Uffington Road.
