A business in Oakham is going from strength-to-strength and has been shortlisted for two awards., which is based in Saddlers Court, is a developer of online educational content. It won the Bett award for ICT exporter of the year in 2012 and has gone on to be shortlisted for two further Bett awards.

The categories it has been shortlisted in are ICT company of the year for providing educational establishments with high-quality, safe ICT services appropriate to their everyday teaching and learning needs; and primary digital content, for its exemplary software and content for the primary sector with Primary Britannica.

The Bett awards recognise the best of the best, and showcase the successes and achievements of the most innovative companies that supply ICT for education.

Managing director of Richard Whalley said: “We are very proud to be nominated for these two prestigious awards, once again confirming the ongoing commitment and excellence of all of our staff in Rutland, Leicestershire and 

“Without their continued efforts, it would not be possible to provide our 15,500 wonderful school customers with these top quality curriculum-linked educational resources.”

Winners will be announced during a ceremony in London, which will be held in January.

Mr Whalley said these nominations are the latest in a long list of accolades won by the company. Other awards that their highly successful team of programmers, content producers and graphic artists have gained include an Educational Resources Award in 2008, Practical Pre-School Awards in 2008, 2010 and 2011, a Right Start Award in 2008 and a Bett Award in 2006.
