THE Mercury Business Awards 2011 are a great chance to earn your business the recognition it deserves.

The awards celebrate the successes of local businesses which all get the chance to shine in the Mercury’s spotlight. Read by tens of thousands of people each week in print and online the Mercury is a great way to let the community know how well you are doing.

The business awards gala dinner on Thursday, May 26, at Greetham Valley Hotel, Golf and Conference Centre will also be a great chance to meet people in our busy local business community.

Mercury editor Eileen Green said: “We are delighted once again to be hosting the business awards and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors for making it possible.

“Their support is greatly appreciated and over the years the business awards have become a fixture in the business community’s diary.

“Over the years many businesses have celebrated their successes and gone on to further glories, I’m sure this year will be no different.

“So, if you haven’t already entered, please do so today. You can enter online or by filling in the form on this page.”

Web Windows is the latest sponsor to join the Mercury Business Awards 2011 team.

The web advertising firm is based in Elm Street, Stamford

A spokesman for Web Windows said: “Web Windows is proud to be a part of the Mercury Business Awards 2011 because the area has given us a great team of employees and an impressive listed building to work from. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate our unique and profitable business than have a great night out with other local business owners.

“Staff lunch? Office event? Entertaining clients? Web Windows can always find an excuse for a meal, a coffee, a slice of cake and in this area, the choices are endless.

“If Daniel Lambert was alive in the area today, he would easily have set a new personal best.”
