A Post Office branch has been chosen for the trial of a new drop off point for online shopping.
The Spar at Kendrew Barracks in Cottesmore is one of 150 new drop-off points nationwide for people using Royal Mail’s pre-paid returns service.
Customers who want to return items simply have to peel off the Royal Mail returns label sent with their package and stick it on the front of the parcel. They can take it to drop-off points and pick up a certificate of posting.
Post Office chief commercial officer Martin George said: “We’re delighted that as well as making it easier for people to visit our branches through longer opening hours we can now also offer even better value for money when posting parcels at Post Office branches.”
