Postal route changes could affect delivery times

CHANGES to postal workers’ routes could affect delivery times.

Royal Mail is revising the routes of workers at its delivery office in Orton Southgate, Peterborough, over the next few weeks.

Post will be delivered for a longer period during the day and the time many homes in the area receive their mail could change as the new routes are introduced.

Royal Mail said it would do “everything possible” to keep a high level of service during the changes. Local councils and business groups have been informed.
