A SALON team has won an award from an international skincare company for the second year running.
ReNu Holistic Beauty and Fitness Studios, of West Street, Bourne, has been named as the most progressive salon of 2011 in the region by Decléor.
Ninety salons from across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and parts of Yorkshire were in the running for the award, which is presented to the salon with the best year on year sales increase.
Owner Claire Saunders said: “With the current economic climate and many businesses in Bourne feeling the pressure, 2011 was a tough year for all of us, but I am absolutely thrilled that with the hard work of my team and the support of local people we have been able to achieve this award for the second year running.”
The award allows ReNu to offer extra incentives for customers and staff, including promotions which are usually reserved for large department stores.
ReNu is due to relocate to new premises in the town this summer.
Major refurbishment work is currently under way at the former Marquis of Granby pub in Abbey Road. The new salon is expected to open by July.
