A FORMER primary school teacher has written a children’s book.

Pauline Lister, of Linden Rise, Bourne, wrote A Visit From Henry with the help of her husband Peter, Lady Willoughby de Eresby of Grimsthorpe Castle and Spalding artist Avril Rodgers.

The book is a mixture of fiction and a historical event which took place at Grimsthorpe Castle. Pauline, who worked in south Lincolnshire for the whole of her career, has dedicated the book to the children she taught.

She said: “The simple story is short and will make a really good souvenir for young children following a memorable visit to the castle.”

The book has been designed and printed by Warners Digital, based in Bourne.

It is on sale at the Grimsthorpe Castle shop for £4.95 or by calling Pauline directly on 01778 423730.
