VILLAGERS are holding a meeting to hear details on Rutland County Council’s draft wind farm policy.

A meeting will be held at Whissendine Primary School on Wednesday when a planning officer from the council will give details on the policy.

Villagers are hoping deputy leader Terry King (Con) will be there and have invited Rutland MP Alan Duncan.

The meeting has been organised by Whissendine Wind Farm Action Group, which is concerned about the dangers wind turbines pose.
