Two businesses are organising a football match to raise money to support Willoughby School in Bourne.

The match will be played between a team from the Five Bells pub in Morton
and Bourne Textiles Services.

The game is scheduled to take place on the Abbey Lawn at Bourne Town Football Club, which has donated its facilities, on Sunday November 3.

Kick off will be a midday.

Organiser Ian Mason said: “We are hoping for a good crowd and all money raised will go to the school as everyone is giving up their time and effort for free.

“Both businesses have a keen interest in football, the Bells has a five-a-side team and Bourne Textile Service has played charity games before. It should be a good match.”

Man of the match will be selected by Willougby School head teacher Adam Booker.

There will be no charge to watch the game but volunteers will collect donations from spectators.
