Businessman from Stamford who set up firm to allow companies to export products to Japan is recognised by Queen




A businessman from Stamford was made an OBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List.

The award for Steve Crane recognises his achievements in founding and leading Business Link Japan, and Export to Japan, a non-profit organisation which has supported thousands of British companies to sell products in the Japanese market.

On learning of his award, Steve said: “I am overwhelmed and honoured to receive this award from Her Majesty the Queen, especially in recognition for services to the country I love so much.
