Busy pre-Christmas night for Emas paramedics

East Midlands Ambulance Service had one of its busiest nights of the year on the Friday before Christmas.

The service received about 700 calls between 11pm on December 19 and 7am on December 20.

General manager Greg Cox thanked all of his staff for their work on the night, praising them for doing “a really great job in challenging circumstances.”
