By-election for Ryhall and Casterton ward on Rutland County Council to take place on Thursday




A by-election for the Rutland County Council ward of Ryhall and Casterton will take place this week.

The poll for the Ryhall and Casterton by-election is being held on Thursday (September 12) between 7am and 10pm. The three candidates nominated are:

  • Richard Stephen Coleman, Conservative Party Candidate
  • Steve Fay, The Green Party
  • Beverley Jane Helen Wrigley-Pheasant, Liberal Democrat

The election is taking place after long-standing councillor for the ward Chris Parsons was unable to accept his position, following the May election.

The deadline for receiving new applications to register to vote in time for this election was midnight on Tuesday, August 27.
