The cheque for £1,292.44 was received by volunteer Pat Cooper and Bourne shop manager Naomi Caddell on behalf of the charity.

During his year in office Coun Russell raised a total of £2,904.25 from fund raising, donations and the balance of his Mayor’s allowance for the charity and the Youth of Bourne.

Applications for donations from the fund should be sent to Bourne Town Council.
